Sunday 13 February 2005 Why a Blog? Galveston Music Scene was started because The Island had no central resource that listed all the live music gigs in the City of Galveston. Now that that problem has been solved, it is time to offer the Club Owners, Musicians, and Music Fans of Galveston a platform and forum where they can discuss the local live music scene. What are the unique and outstanding things about the local music scene that can be expanded and built upon? How can we make it even better? What are the issues and problems that bug you about the local music scene? What do you think should be done to improve things? What would you do if you were King of The Island? Send us your comments!
