  UFO Over Galveston?

Galveston Music Scene has just obtained a transcript of a tape that was recorded early this morning by Houston Air Traffic Control (HATC).

UNIDENTIFIED FLYING OBJECT: Hey man, I'm lost!

HATC: Please identify yourself!

UFO: What do you mean?

HATC: It is customary to give your airplane type, and your tail number; like, Cessna 8716 November.

UFO: : Well, I'm not in a plane!

HATC: Then why are you calling Houston Air Traffic Control?

UFO: Because I'm lost, and I can't find my way home! I'm somewhere over Galveston Island.

HATC: What are you "flying" in?

UFO: A Red Ford Pickup Truck.

HATC: Then how are you "OVER" Galveston Island?

UFO: That is what I'm trying to figure out!! It's freaking me out; man!

HATC: Say your altimeter reading.

UFO: 41,000 feet.

HATC: Wow! You are "OVER" Galveston Island! We do have one echo on the radar down there; it must be you! How did you and your Pickup get to 41,000 feet? Were you abducted by a UFO, and beamed up?

UFO: All I remember is that we were at B. Jigger's, and there were some shots of Tequila, and then some flaming shots; and then, after closing: JELL-O SHOTS! There were some bright lights in my face, some of the time, so maybe that was a UFO.

HATC: No, we've seen this before! Those Jell-O Shots, with Everclear in them, can beam you up over 30,000 feet all by themselves! So what can we do for you?

UFO: I can't find my house!

HATC: All right, we'll try to talk you down into a safe landing. Can you see it below you?

UFO: No!!

HATC: Where is your house?

UFO: West of 61st Street, it's ...........................

At that point radio contact was lost, and the Red Pickup Truck disappeared from the radar screen! A search party was dispatched, and this is what they found:

Missing Pick Up

Witnesses said that it kinda looked like a well known bass player from a local band; but the Air Force, and the NTSB, have slapped a Top Secret label on this case file. It will probably remain a mystery!
