Friday 03 June 2005 Come To The Rescue! The Hurricane Club, at 6303 Broadway, is one of only a handful of year-round live-music venues on The Island. It has been at this location for many years under various names including RoBob's, but it is being forced to close on 13 June, IF they can't find a place to relocate their club! They had a deal on another property, but it fell through at the last minute. If you have any ideas on a building (buy or lease) that could become a new Hurricane Club, let us know. There must be someone out there who has a solution to their problem. Let's save this live music venue!! |
