Road Trips?

Should Galveston-area bands ply their trade on the road? Of course; IF they can increase their opportunities, exposure and income!!

Galveston Music Scene has been researching some of the venues that might be available to local bands, if they want to take a shot at some gigs on the road. The first two we are covering today are the only two casinos in the State of Texas! Yes, that's right, there are two casinos in Texas, and both are in need of live entertainment!!

Texas Treasure Casino Cruises Web Page:

Located in Port Aransas, this is about a 250 mile drive from Galveston. They need bands to play on the ship as it sails out into international waters.

Kickapoo Lucky Eagle Casino Web Page:

This Indian casino just tripled in size in October 2004. It is located in Eagle Pass, TX about 388 miles from Galveston, or 99 miles west of San Antonio.

Contact: Director of Entertainment, Brando Mireles, 888-255-8259.

Give them a call and see if you can make a good deal!!
