Monday 04 July 2005 They Say It's Your Birthday; It's My Birthday, Too; Yea!! Here, in The Magical Island Kingdom, we have decided to celebrate our birthdays for a whole month! If you live in such a place; why not!! My birthday falls on 16 June, so this year, The Celebration officially began on 03 June with TP & the Emergency (TP, Budman, Harry & Billy Ray) at Poor Michael's. 04 June started with The Line Up (Willy, Stacy & Jeff) at East Beach AND ended with Wiseguy (Bob, Greg, & Rick) at Tubby's. Then on 09 June, we upped the ante with The Line Up (Willy, Stacy & the return of Mark Lee) at Club 21. 10 June with The Line Up (Willy, Stacy & Mark) at B. Jigger's, 11 June with Double Ought (Dave, Gilbert & Dash) at East Beach AND with The Line Up (Willy, Stacy & Mark) at B. Jigger's (recorded by Don). 12 June with Double Ought (Dave, Gilbert & Dash) at Ju-Ju's. On 16 June (my actual birth day) with The Line Up (Willy, Stacy & Jeff) at Club 21, 17 June with TP & the Emergency (TP, Budman, Harry & Billy Ray) at Poor Michael's AND with Nite Wave (Danny, Kenneth, Randy & Steve) at Whisky's. 18 June with The Line Up (Willy, Stacy & Jeff) at East Beach. 19 June with Dave Oates at Boudreaux's. Next, on 25 June with Lawst Dogz (Budman, Dave, Harry, Michael & Tracy) at Tubby's. 26 June with George Douglas Lee at Boudreaux's. On 02 July with Double Ought (Dave, Gilbert & Dash) at Boudreaux's AND with Lostt (Larry, Broc, Todd & Smitty) at Slices. And finally, on 03 July with TP & the Emergency, Texas After Dark, Lawst Dogz and two other bands at the Fourth of July Blowout on Bastrop Bayou. Thanks to all these great musicians and good friends for making this an unbelievable birthday celebration! It was AWESOME!! Is there any place else where you can have a Birthday Party like this? |
