Monday 29 August 2005 The Forum! Galveston Music Scene has started an Open Forum for the music community in Galveston County; a place where we can all discuss what's on our our minds! I tried to set it up so that everyone on my email list received an invitation to join, but it is open to everyone, so anyone who didn't get an invitation can still sign up; and it's a free! Members can set up their account so that they receive an email every time there is a new posting! You can post messages, or reply to messages already posted, using a screen name, or your real name. Feel free to: comment on the local music scene, list equipment for sale or wanted to buy, post a notice that you are looking for musicians, or a musician looking for a band. This Forum will be a bulletin board, a chat room, and an editorial page! Use it in anyway that seems appropriate!! My first posting raises the question of what Galveston needs to do to get live music going on "Off Nights". What do you think?
