Friday 07 October 2005 Evacuation? The results are in! 62% of the Houston-area residents who participated in the Hurricane Rita Evacuation would do it again!! Sitting in traffic for between 10 and 30 hours did NOT convince them that the plan was ill-conceived, or that they should "never go through that exercise in futility and frustration", again! They are ready and willing to do it again when called upon in the future! And who said that people just don't get it? It couldn't have been me! I fully understood their willingness to trust the Powers That Be to save them, when I received these pictures of the extensive damage that Rita did in Houston!  $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
